Art In The Airport, Nashville, TN

“Rhapsody of Tulips”, March 8 – May 30, 2005

Suzanne Jack’s “Rhapsody of Tulips”, a series of landscapes created with pastels, were featured the spring of 2005 at Nashville International Airport. Jack feels, “Nature inspires with the promise of spring and rejuvenates the human spirit with hope.” Jack’s sensibilities as an artist and her devotion to the land are revealed through a vivid color palette and a dynamic energy. Connecting physically and psychologically to the spirit of spring, she presents the land as a metaphor for her interior landscape. Jack perceives herself as a work of art in process, stating that “Rhapsody of Tulips” expresses her own “rejuvenescent” spirit.
